A word of encouragement - for everyone who writes and shares.

I constantly receive DMs and emails from people saying that they’ve been following my posts for weeks — or even months. Yet…

…throughout all these weeks and even months, most of them never show themselves.

They never “like” my posts, never leave a single comment…

This only goes to show that there are lots of people out there who in this new and marvelous world of social media choose to be just silent readers.

They follow and they read — but they never engage.

Until one day they do…

So, if you write and share and don’t see the feedback you expect — which you probably count in “likes” and “shares,” please don’t be discouraged.

It’s worth reminding yourself from time to time there are people out there who read and follow — and keep silent even if your posts make some impact on them.

And it looks like they’re quite a few of such people.

And if you are that silent reader, maybe you should reconsider your policy.

A bit of encouragement can make a difference for any writer, and clicking “like” isn’t that much of an effort.
