After years of laziness
After years of laziness, wishful thinking and negligence, I’ve decided to resume my yoga practice. I hadn’t been good at it before. And now, being ten years older, I haven’t become any better. But now I have a son who watches me while I’m trying to bend, stretch and twist my miserable body. He checks on my phone I use as a video guide for my practice what the exercise should look like and he doesn’t hesitate to make remarks. “Dad, I think you should stretch your arm further,” he says. Or: “Dad, she isn’t bending her legs like you are”. I know, son, I know.
